Bryan Contreras Zamora, MA is a third-year doctoral trainee in the Clinical Health Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado Denver. He holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in multicultural counseling.

Bryan has training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Therapy. His therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from systemic perspectives that consider the influence of family, culture, and community while honoring each client’s unique strengths and identities.

Bryan strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to explore personal growth and healing. His research focuses on understanding cultural and social factors that contribute to mental health stigma among underserved and first-generation Hispanic communities.
