CBT Denver is a distinguished group psychotherapy practice dedicated to delivering top-tier mental health services through evidence-based psychotherapy. We have been serving the Denver metro area, Rocky Mountain region, and beyond for well over a decade.
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PhD or PsyD level provider to join our team in providing evidence-based mental health treatment for children and adolescents. This position will primarily focus on clients ages 7-13 but experience in treating younger children and older adolescents is helpful.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based psychotherapies to children and adolescents
Collaborate with parents/caregivers through coaching and family-focused interventions
Participate in regular case consultation with our clinical team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Display a high level of communication, independent time-management, and organization
Display and openness to growth and learning as our practice expands with new and evolving client needs
Required:
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Fully licensed in Colorado (or license-eligible)
Commitment to evidence-based practice
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Openness to learning new modalities and receiving clinical feedback
Preferred Experience/Knowledge in:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Parent coaching and family systems work
Clinical Areas of Focus:
Depression and anxiety disorders
OCD and related disorders
School refusal
Peer and relational issues
Parenting issues
Position Details
Schedule: Flexible to discuss part-time/full-time
Work Environment: On-site office space available two-three afternoons/evenings per week, weekend scheduling is optional
Employment Type: This is a W-2 position, benefits are contingent on caseload status
